This is a
very unique table design of my own. Measuring 51" long, 21"deep,
and 29" tall, there is always room for this fine piece almost
anywhere. The top is made of Adirondack hand hewn white pine slab wood a
full 3" thick. The legs are from Washington State lodge pole pine,
air-dried for years. The struts and spreaders on the underside are hand
coped western broad leaf maple and attached with old nails. The fancy twig
branches attached to the legs and underside of the table are white birch
saplings cut from my property in Maine. The old snowshoe, attached with
wide leather is also from Maine, which I found in an old antique store while
there. Every one loves this table and it was featured in the book, Cowboy Chic
by Chase Reynolds Ewald. $3650
Hardly needs an
explanation for this great dining table and chair ensemble. 7'
6" long x 42" wide x 28" high. Made from a huge
slag of old growth Oregon pine. Giant walnut butterflies inlayed
in the top as well as ash boards on the underside for stability
and to prevent the table from ever cupping or bowing. It has
beautiful ash legs with the bark on. The chairs are custom made
to fit the table and beautiful as well. Table and 6 chairs
$15,500
This
neat rustic coffee table is a western
classic and is made of old Wyoming
snow-fence boards.
The legs are weathered
lodge-pole pine poles attached with
old spikes.
The spreaders under the table
are cured maple twigs and hand coped
for exact fit.
The old antique snowshoe is
fastened with dark brown hand-cut
leather straps.
The size of this table is
38”l x 23”w x 18”h.
It has been finished in a rich
dark brown oil/stain mix and hand
rubbed to show the depth and age of
the old boards. $2850

This is a very unique and functional cedar
root-base table below sure to fit that
special spot in your home. The cedar
base came from an old logging road
high in the Cascade Mountains of
western Washington. The bark is still
on as it was cut in the winter when
the sap is not flowing. The brass top
is in a mosaic hand-nailed pattern,
then hand swirled to create a splendid
artsy look. It is then edged with
split cedar trim. The lower rim is
also of hand-swirled brass and trimmed
with split striped maple twigs. $4500

This
table also started with a trip to the
Pacific Coast in my truck and a
chainsaw.
Found on the shores of the
coast, this is a wonderful and massive
old cedar tree stump.
The top is made of solid plank
boards. A unique overlaid pattern of
hand-swirled copper and brass sheet is
finely applied with nails burned for
age in my woodstove. The border twigs are stripped maple, applied using hand-cut
wood dowels and old nails.
The glass top is a full 3/8”
thick with a 2” bevel and tempered. There are hand painted mountain scenes which border the table
on the lower rim.
There is also an old lariat,
which wraps the base and hangs long,
exposing the frayed end.
This table is 38” across and
stands 28” tall. $4500 |

These
wonderful tables below are designed to
display fine art.
These are made as singles or matched
pairs.
Measuring 29”h x 17” square
at the top, these tables are made of
pine and covered in deep, rich colored
leathers.
They are trimmed in hand-sawn
split maple twigs.
At the base, also notice that
copper was used to enhance its elegant
rustic look.
Fine white birch saplings were
applied to the four sides, and sweep
delicately up to the underside of the
top.
The wood used for the top is Canary
Wood harvested from a managed tree
plantation in South America.
Small twig fans are applied to
the base as well as delicate twig art
forms to the center column. $1695 ea.

This
rustic end table is usually made as a
set of two.
Jim uses western red cedar legs
from the Cascade Mountains of
Washington State, and yellow birch
from the Adirondacks Mountain of New
York State,
dried and split yellow birch twigs for
the borders and Canary Wood for
the top. He has applied small and
delicate white birch sapling to the
four legs to give this bold table a
bit of elegance and femininity.
Measures 18”l x 21”w x
21”h. $1295 |
