used for the top doors.
The drawer is lined in leather.
The bottom doors have delicate
twigs over reversed white birch-bark.

This
great china hutch was created in Jim's
work shop in the Adirondacks.
All the materials were collected by
hand on his own 30 acre parcel
there. Made of native Adirondack
pine boards and oak, Jim creates
another true masterpiece. Mosaic
yellow birch twigs trim out the
applied white birch bark in the
traditional Adirondack style. $14,500 |

Another
great hutch which Jim built in his
warm winter shop in the
Adirondacks. This piece sold to
Mary Lou Whitney for an undisclosed
amount and now resides in her
Adirondack home near Long Lake,
NY. Made of western red cedar,
white birch bark and split yellow
birch twigs, this hutch exemplifies
Jim's creativity and finesse. $10,500 |

Here is an exquisite rustic china
hutch created of all natural woods.
Native Adirondack pine boards milled
from an old circular saw mill to
create an exceptional piece.
Each one is custom made to order for
sizing to your specific
location. This one has white
birch bark appliqué and split yellow
birch twigs hand nailed in a mosaic
pattern. The shelves, four
drawers and top is of eastern white
oak. All the drawers are constructed
with hand cut dovetail joints.
Enter the lower doors and store all of
your exceptional wines, liquors,
or fine china. Handsomely
crafted, shed deer are used antlers on
the upright posts, handles and
latches. This is a fine addition
to any rustic home or lodge and was
featured in Ralph Kylloe's book Rustic.

This
is a very unique & rustic western china hutch. Made of
beaded pine, 1" thick canary wood from a managed tree
plantation in South America for the main deck, as well as old snow fence
boards from the back roads in Wyoming for the doors and upper
shelves. Notice the interesting shed elk antlers
for the top and door handles, and the fine finger fans applied
to the back wall of the hutch. The sticks and twigs used
here are a mix of striped maple, and lodge-pole pine from the Cascade Mountains in
Washington State. $9500 |

Here
is a wonderful china hutch made in the true fashion of the
west! This piece is made of 3'4" beaded pine boards
for the back. The sides and main deck are 2-3/4"
thick "old growth" Oregon pine. The actual slab
this wood came from measured 52" wide by 10' long.
The side panels are hand swirled copper sheet with twigs overlaid
and applied. Note the fancy finger fans inside on the
beaded pine back wall. The trim wood is a mix of half
split Washington lodge-pole pine and broad leaf maple. The
doors and upper shelves are old Wyoming snow fence boards found
on the back roads, abandoned and in need of rescue. $8500 |

Here
is a magnificent rustic china hutch
above, built in the true tradition of Rustic, incorporating the
best of both the east and the west.
Here Jim uses his 18 years of
experience in Rustic to create an
exemplary piece sure to enhance any
"Great Room" of your home or
lodge. Finely crafted of native woods
of the Cascade Mountains, hand tanned
leathers, silver cowboy pulls, and
split maple twigs - everything about
this hutch feels "Western!"
As usual, every step used in creating
this beautiful piece is done by hand
and with great care, from the finely
applied hand-nailed split twigs to the
hand-cut dovetail drawers. The door
glass is 1/4" thick with
1-1/2" hand ground beveled edges.

What an exemplary piece this is above! Made in the
traditional Adirondack, Ernest Stowe style which
Jim loves and re-creates so well. This beautiful
hutch is handcrafted solely of native Adirondack
pine and eastern red and white oak. This is a
two piece hutch which means the top sits on the
bottom. The drawer is made of oak and only the
finest techniques are used which include
hand-cut dovetail joints. The drawer bottom is
lined in soft and durable leather. The bottom
door panels have old antique and weathered
copper panels inlayed and recessed in them as
well as yellow birch tree limbs. The side panels
also have a mix of copper and bark reversed from
the top to bottom. The white of this piece is
native Adirondack white birch bark taken only
from fallen old trees sometimes dead and on the
ground for decades. Every bit of this piece is
hand nailed! The glass is 1/4" and has
1-1'2" bevels. This hutch can also be made
to your very distinct specifications. $12,500
